Saint Joseph's Kids Carpentry

tools used in Kid's Carpentry

St. Joseph's Kids Carpentry offers kindergarten through six grade students the opportunity to grow in faith and virtue while building fun projects from scratch.

With an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools and saws, kids practice virtues like self-control and perseverance while building projects such as swords, crosses, pirate ships, birdhouses, clocks, and more.

The carpenters also learn applied mathematics, abstract reasoning and valuable wood- working skills like measuring, sawing, drilling, rasping, fastening, sanding, and shaping while learning about the saints and the beauty of the Catholic faith.
